Wow, it's been quite some time since I've posted anything. For that, I apologize. However, in my defense, there hasn't been much to report. Me and Allen are just going day to day trying to make each day better than the last.
Unfortunately, Allen is still unemployed, which makes it about 2 months now. It's a little difficult, but we are lucky that I have the job I have. We are very blessed. Allen goes out every day to look for jobs, while I am at work looking for jobs on the internet. He has also been going to a workshop at LDS Employment Services. He's learning how to better his resume' and how to do better in interviews. Hopefully something will come along soon. In fact, if anyone hears of any place that is accepting applications and/or resumes, please let me know. It would be greatly appreciated. :) This job market is pretty tough right now.
So far our summer has been pretty fun. It's been full of weddings left and right, family get-togethers, fire works and bbq's. It's been great spending time with family and friends. My only complaint....it's TOO hot. Allen and I are not huge fans of the heat, and having a swamp cooler only makes it worse. But at least we have THAT.
For this next week the plans are: time with friends and family, clean our 2nd bedroom and dejunk, and get over whatever illness I currently have. I must have some sort of stomach virus. It's getting irritating. I don't like feeling sick. So hopefully by the end of the week, I can be past it and move on with everyday activities with no ailments.
Another update will come soon...Hopefully by then I will have something more interesting to say. haha! 'Till then...have a great week!

Hey Amanda! This guy I worked with at Albertsons works at Primerica now and so does his wife, and he said they are always looking for help. They sell life insurance (that's who we have ours with) and they do investing. So they always need people to handle appointments for them. He wanted my friend to come work for them since Albertsons sold, but she is just transfering. If Allen is interested in applying I could give Steve all of your info. Just let me know. Anything is better than nothing right? Hope you are well!
