Well, things are looking up in our household. Allen found another job. He's been so diligent this past week in applying for any job that's available. We just couldn't wait any longer for the satellite business to pick up.
So today is his first day at his new job. HaHa I actually don't know alot about it. As far as I know and understand, he is in a cubicle all day and is on the phone taking calls and selling herbal supplements. He has base pay plus commission. To be honest, the base pay isn't much, but hey, it's something!
I'm so very proud of Allen for being willing to put himself out there and do whatever job he had to in order to help provide for us. This isn't his ideal job, but it will help until something better comes along. He is still working with the satellite company, but is only devoting time to them on the weekends(since that seems to be the only time there ARE jobs anyways).
Allen is such a good provider and I'm so proud of him. We feel very blessed right now in these difficult times and we are so thankful for all that we have and for all the love and support we continually feel from our friends and family.
