Healthplans, Flowers, & Weddings! OH MY!

Healthplans: Ok, since Allen & I have been married, we have noticed that we both have gotten a little...."fluffy" so to speak...haha. So we both decided it was time to do something about it. Myself especially. No more buying bigger clothes. No more chowing down on the sweets. It's time to do something. We want to see our sexy selves again hahaha!
As for Allen, I think his plan is to exercise, watch what he eats, and try not to go for seconds, even though it's so hard not to because I'm pretty much the best cook ever.... TOTALLY just kidding!!!
As for me, I think I'm gonna be a little more strict with my health plan. I have a good friend that has had AMAZING success with her healthy lifestyle change. And she looks GREAT. Believe it or not, hers is just healthy eating and exercise...Who'da thought??!! haha! She said she would help me figure out a health plan that would work for me. Everyone is different and so I need to find what works for ME. That's the best way to stay happy and healthy. I'm so excited to get started and see the improvement. I'll update my blog at different points to report on how I'm doing.

Flowers: Last Saturday Allen & I attended my cousin's wedding. It was beautiful. As the wedding favor to all the guests they gave out little "Teddy Bear Sunflower" seeds. The reason for this favor was because of the meaning of the flower. It's meaning is "Adoration & Loyalty." What a thoughtful favor. We were told that these flowers only get to be about 2 feet high and only take about 2 months to grow. So I figured, let's try and plant them and see what happens. We bought a little terra cotta pot and planted them. The pot is currently on our porch. And although I just planted them yesterday, I keep looking at the pot hoping to see something. haha! Patience is not one of my best virtues. I'm really hoping that these seeds work. I'd love to add a little happy color to our porch. :)

Weddings: 'Tis the season to be married...fa lala la laaaa la la la la! My goodness. There are engagements left and right. And with Summer right around the corner, so are the weddings. Two of Allen's cousins are getting married between May & June. One of my cousin's just got married. A good friend of mine is getting married in August. And one of my best friends just got engaged the other night. Busy summer! Lots of marriages!
With the most recent engagement, I've been asked to be a bridesmaid in their wedding. And I'm SO EXCITED. I haven't been a bridesmaid since I was about 10. This time I have been asked to help with so much! It's quite a compliment to have someone ask you to be so involved in their Special Day! I'm flattered. :)
So even though Summer has not yet graced us with it's presence, I already know we are going to be super busy. I can't wait! :)
